The concept of the Argentina Pavilion was related to the emotions and passions the soccer arouses at the country’s cultural identity. Motto “Argentina takes the field” and #LEERARGENTINA.

Argentina’s balance at FILBO 2018:

285,000 people visited the Argentina Pavilion during FILBO. In percentage it received 38% more visits than the 2017 guest. In addition, 40,000 students were in the pavilion. The pavilion’s bookstore sold 13,589 copies during the event, according to reports from the Colombian Association of Independent Booksellers, ACLI. “Rayuela” , by Cortazar, was the best-selling book. The editorial sample of the event was 25,000 books. during the fair, 110 events were held in the Argentina Pavilion, and 10 films from the southern country were screened. The gastronomic area, which was also part of the gaucho cultural sample at the fair, billed 250,000$. And as part of Argentina’s participation in FILBO, professional conferences were held with 24 editors from that country.
